We’re pleased to have partnered with SAMRIDH to avail their blended finance facility. Samridh support
SAMRIDH supported Tricog with a recoverable grant for its Maharashtra STEMI Project to reduce mortality and morbidity by enabling timely STEMI detection and diagnosis through the InstaECG platform. The scope of the support covers existing and potential patients of 2,126 healthcare facilities in Maharashtra’s 34 districts. The initiative focuses on key areas: installing and digitizing 12-lead ECG machines for 24/7 detection, capacity building of doctors and technicians, implementing standardized treatment protocols via a care coordination tool, monitoring through a STEMI registry dashboard, and raising awareness through IEC activities. Aligned with NPCDCS regulations and 2022 STEMI guidelines, the project aims to improve cardiovascular healthcare outcomes, reduce morbidity, and lower out-of-pocket expenses. Tricog will raise additional equity funds, resulting in approximately 23x financial leverage over the support provided by SAMRIDH.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death and disability in India. The growing prevalence of CVD, especially in rural areas, underscores the pressing need to integrate screening and treatment into primary healthcare. This would enable evidence-based care, improve hospital access, and offer affordable treatment options. While early detection and intervention can significantly reduce morbidity and mortality, the lack of tertiary care at primary and secondary levels, coupled with a severe shortage of cardiac specialists—only 4,000 compared to the 88,000 required—delays timely diagnosis and treatment. Strengthening early diagnosis and ensuring access to cardiologists within primary healthcare can help bridge this critical gap.

Tricog Health India tackles the shortage of cardiac specialists with its smart cardiac diagnostic solution. This system integrates a 12-lead ECG machine, real-time data transmission, and a machine learning algorithm to deliver remote ECG diagnoses within 10 minutes. The ECG machine sends digital data to the cloud, where Tricog’s algorithm and doctors analyze it. The final report, including detailed interpretations, is sent to the treating doctor via app, email, or SMS. Tricog’s app also supports advanced features like STEMI management and care coordination. Backed by a large dataset and tested on diverse conditions, Tricog’s solution, with its expert cardiologists, fills the gap in cardiac care, particularly in underserved areas.
